Wow, that is amazing!  I used to do a little bit of origami, but nothing close to that!

I bet it takes a long time, though.  I remember looking at origami books and finding large projects where you had a simple pattern repeated a bazillion times.

This project could take me 4-6 hours to make. I have a new project being released this weekend that took me a week on and off. But I have been doing this for about four years now.

Wow, cool.  Usually I only do the simple ones that take less than ten minutes to make.

Oh, lol. I did do 1017 cranes... Yeah, there are a lot of easy projects. But 3D Origami is a bit more time consuming because of all the pieces. It's easy to go pass 100 pieces fast.

I can just see it now: Somewhere in the woods there is a tree crying and saying "Why is my mom a paper squirrel?" lol

Haha, it's an adorable iron man! The things paper can make xD
Except, I don't think that Origami Man would be virtually indestructible.. :XD:

lol
im too lazy
ive only made stuff so many times xD
folding them yourself is a good way to pass time and its really fun once u get the hang of it :iconteyuplz:
its also a way to make them truly handmade *without making the paper itself lol*
you could also try card stock?
Reply
:iconjobe3do:
Jobe3DO Featured By Owner Aug 15, 2012  Hobbyist Artisan Crafter
I did try card stock._. It hurts my hands to much._. (My fingers get very dry to._.) I also tried transparent paper..._. it's to much like plastic,_, so I didn't use it._.

I can fold the triangles without looking at them!_! (I actually feel like I've accomplished something,_, lol._.)

Folding them is a good way to pass the time._. I had an hour commute to school._. So I folded while I was commuting._. I got a lot made in one day._.
