Hi,

A 3D Origami version of the Pokemon Chimecho that has a length of 2 feet (60 centimeters). This project took me three days to construct, and took about twelve hours for the folding. And an extra two days for the glue to apply and harden. I used a lot of glue for this project mainly because I planned on wearing it at Hal-Con this weekend in Halifax. But since I wasn't allowed into the building on Saturday and got my refund for my ticket I could not show it off. But usually I wouldn't use as much glue as what I did for this project.

Let me know what do you all think down in the comments. I have requested for critiques about this project regarding it's accuracy for the shape of this project. (Not the color or general location for this Pokemon.) Also for the critiques remember that during the construction of this piece I was using memory of what this character looks like. I hope you all enjoy how Chimecho turned out.

impressive. I can tell that you have great command of style and originality. however, keep in mind that chimecho is supposed to be a pokemon wind chime, and it would have had a better originality if it were to mimic an actual wind chime. I really like your technique though in being able to stand the chimecho up on a tree. given that this deviation was done from memory, it is all the more valuable to the beholder that the artist has envisioned the subject fully and as real as it gets (chimecho's actual size is 2 feet). one pet peeve of mine is the use other materials besides paper. your description notes that you used a lot of glue for this deviation, which is a huge taboo for origami since its original practice was with paper only. nevertheless, this deviation boasts your creativity and originality that is not always evident in an artist's work. good job.
