#370 (2 Years on DA, Votes are IN!)

Journal Entry: Sat Mar 22, 2014, 6:54 AM

2 Years on DA:

I realized that sometime this month I had my 2nd year anniversary. I will be posting the compilation image of all the projects I have completed this year. Although this year I haven't made as many projects as the last. I have managed to make bigger projects. There are still a lot of projects that you all have suggested for me to do. But sadly I will not be getting at all of them. However there are a few projects that I have been suggested to do that I plan on doing. (Just later in the year)

Poll (Etsy):

The poll that was posted a little while ago about an etsy shop and tutorials, I finally have a decision on the big haunting question. I have decided to open an etsy shop. I am thinking that it will be open sometime in the near future. Although I am not sure how near that will be. Behind the scenes of this process is me right now making many 3D Origami projects that I have already designed and posted on here. This includes Angry Bird Red, Navi, and more of my simplistic works.

Poll (Tutorials):

Due to the etsy shop being open (in the near future). I will be NOT doing tutorials. Mainly because that would make my works decrease in value. Think of it this way. If a well known artist made a painting and then someone else replicated the same painting (Meaning they are aware of the first painting and thus having an image of how it will turn out already in their mind). Making there two paintings of the same thing by different artists. Wouldn't the first piece decrease in cost because of the replicated painting. But if the original artist was to replicate it's own painting, just adding different brush techniques the paintings both would remain as originals...
That is why I am not doing tutorials.

Instead of tutorials, I am doing tips and trick video clips. That will show you some of the more complicated techniques that I use. which would help you with your own works.

Poll (Starter Packs):

I may still do this...

Poll (Commissions):

I have decided NOT to do these for now.

ME Time:

This shouldn't come as a surprise but I haven't been on DeviantART as much as what I use to. I do come on here at the very least once a week. Which is still often. However the main thing is that I still come on here. Just not as often. I am excited for the APP that DA is planing on making. Mainly because I use my phone a lot and that is one of the main reasons why I don't get on DA as often. Or at least that's what the reason seems to be.

About Me:
I am a young (20 years old) 3D Origami Artist (started 3D Origami when I was 17, and begun self designed projects when I was 18), that does traditional Origami as well (but not as much). I also do a lot of other DIY crafts...
What else can I tell you about myself? I'm a Canadian... I am a drawer, and a writer. Since I turned 14-15 years old (somewhere around there), I begun to write seriously. I am not published... It's just because not everyone would like the stuff I write (that's my personal opinion, plus it's kinda beginner level). The type of stuff that I write is basically like if there isn't one death related scene within the first three chapters (or paragraphs)... than it's not one of mine. Simple I know.
I like to know the people that fav me and watch me, so comment and tell me something about yourself... Don't be shy! You can even NOTE me.
Good Night Daemons!
